  • Origin Engineering creates 3D surface files to be used for machine control. Our team provides finished grade and subgrade models that are generated specifically for each project and are provided in the format for the specific GPS manufacturer of the user.

    Origin Engineering’s quality control process takes the necessary steps to ensure that our models match the Plan details giving Contractors peace of mind.

  • Origin Engineering provides clear, accurate 2D linework for field staking. We use a combination of linework provided by the Engineer-of-Record and linework generated from our models to provide the user in the field with all the information to stakeout any project. Our team takes the time to remove unneeded linework and text from these files so that layout in the field is clear and concise.

  • Origin Engineering uses 3D surfaces to provide Clients with earthwork quantities during bidding, construction, and post-construction stages of work. Our team can utilize surfaces provided by others or generate  the required surface files to provide cut/fill earthwork quantities. The use of this technology provides more accurate quantity take-offs that can save time and money.
